We are based in Pakenham, about 55km south-east of the Melbourne CBD on the Princes Highway. We cover the Cardinia growth estates, established central Pakenham, the Casey suburbs to the west and the hills to the north. Free in-home measure across the lot.
Housing stock changes fast across this corridor, and so does the right answer at the window. A five-year-old home in Cardinia Lakes with big west-facing glass wants something different from a period house in Berwick Village, which wants something different again from a property up at Emerald where the air is damp for months and the outlook is the whole point of the room. Officer
The estate belt immediately west of Pakenham, growing hard on both sides of the highway. Mostly newer builds with large window areas and exposed west elevations.

Pakenham sits in the Shire of Cardinia at the end of the metropolitan rail line, and it is really two towns in one postcode. On one side there are the newer estates: Cardinia Lakes, Arena, Heritage Springs, Lakeside and Riverbank, full of homes built in the last twenty years with generous glazing, open-plan living and alfresco slabs that get used for about half the year unless something is done about the wind.
On the other side there is established central Pakenham, with older brick and weatherboard homes on bigger blocks, reveals that have moved with the decades, and window openings that are rarely square. Then, north of the highway, the ground climbs into Pakenham Upper and the acreage properties, where blocks are large, the outlook matters and the microclimate is noticeably cooler and damper than the flat.
Summers here hit 35 degrees and above, and the sting comes from the northerly and westerly afternoon sun. Winters are cold and damp, and in the newer double-brick estate homes we regularly see real condensation on the inside of the glass through July. Both of those facts drive product choice. Sunscreen fabric and shutters manage the summer glare without blacking the room out; PVC rather than timber goes anywhere moisture collects; and where condensation runs down a reveal, a fabric blind sitting hard against the glass is the wrong specification no matter how good the fabric is.

What we bring to every measure
The measure is not a sales call with a tape in it. We arrive with the actual louvre profiles in PVC, basswood and aluminium so you can feel the weight difference, the paint and stain range, fabric books for the roller and roman ranges, mesh and clear PVC samples for the outdoor work, and a working motor so you can hear how quiet it really is rather than take our word for it.
Then we go room by room. Which way does it face, who uses it, at what time of day, and does it need privacy at night or heat control at 4pm. That conversation is what produces a quote you can actually compare, and it is why we price per window rather than as a lump sum. If part of the house wants shutters and part wants roller blinds, we will say so.
